As a quick fix to the location, add a line in your sig but yes, I'll look into that.
The thread title font is the only real thing I had concerns with, I've changed the size from the theme default to make it less squashed already!
Pictures will only be re-sized on loading so you can always right click 'open image in new tab' style - the images are still wherever they are.

Have made a few font size changes already but obviously there will never be universal agreement! Where are you referring to?

The most recent posts is a suggested big impact on homepage load time so that went a while back. Huge list of birthdays have now also gone for the same reason. Spent a lot of time going through the performance improvement stuff for hooj smf forums so don't really want to go back.
