Right not to confuse you but the easiest way is to upgrade to V8 or read this and get a better understanding

Scroll down to page 9 first then read the rest.

This what i did!

i think something has happened when adding the new firmware as there is nothing there!

Well i believe that the map i am running has it on the dvd!

the POI has uploaded on the system but they are just not appearing on when i go to add them. there are no options.

I used the file on here from Mike. it works on other people hence i think i have a problem with my system.

Thats fine as they can be deleted and replaced with the ones with map priority 3 instead of 255, ill have to do download them and take a look first

Right i've just downloaded them and copied them from the SD card on to the RNS and they work bud, mind i had to zoom out as we've only one anywhere near us  You can add a few actually so i'd suggest copying that file on Sd card and adding it to the RNS.

Yep i did all that and i add them and them the POI option is active but when i go into it there is nothing on the screen.

so i think i have a problem somewhere along the time!

Deleted the old one and reinstalled and same thing. even tried another one.

They are being loaded on and are an option as the POI option is no longer greyed out but there is never anything in the menu!

Considering trying another map and if that failed reinstall 3810 and see if it works then
