8v AGG timing.......
« on: 12 August 2012, 20:49 »
does anyone know what the timing on the AGG should be on VAGCOM live data... I think its block 7, the first reading. I think i have read somewhere it should be between 59 and 62 or 1. Any one know??

Cant remember off the top of my head but when you plug Vag-Com in and bring up the live data, It will actually show you the parameters it should be between.

Mine was miles out, Just undid dizzy bolt and turned it a little until my reading came inbetween the parameters.

think its between 57-60

thanks guys, mine was reading;

Co-ord sender 2 (should be 57-60 or 1)
co-ord sender 9 (should be 5-8)
Altitude correction 0.99 this seems ok
operating cond 0 so does this

So this small amount out must be causeing my pinking!!!!!

Yeah it's a tiny bit out. Just turn your dizzy & all will be sorted.

Solved my 5000rpm rev limit & pinking.

Did you undo the 13mm (I think) bolt? Mine was easy to turn once that was undone

it was just well and truly in there!! Few (gentle) love taps with the hammer and hey presto, the noise that has annoyed me since having the car has gone!! Turned it about 10° and clamped it back up! checked with the vagcom lite and its now reading from block 7

co-ord sender 1 - 60
co-or sender 2 - 7
altitude correction 1.00
the end one (forgot what it said) 0

Get bloody in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
