Nice one Raven.

Welcome to the Sony Alpha world (I have the a350).

Need to get out for my night shot, hopefully tonight.

Nice! I seem to have joined a clan then eh! Found it in a second hand shop £100 with the 18-70mm full working order! Couldn't not buy it!

Sweet. They seem to be about £200 from a camera shop. I had the Alpha 100 first, which cost me £150, the Alpha 200 is very similar.
I now have the Alpha 300 which is great (14.2mp, live view, better ISO).
If you have any Alpha related queries, just ask.
Search for Minolta AF lenses on ebay, there's tons around for not much money (eg: 50mm f1.7 for £70).

Also it looks like you're gonna win as no one else has entered yet.
I've got a great sunrise shot, but I don't think that'll count as night.

Hey - don't bank on that - I've just not had a chance to get out after dark this month, since the competition kicked off.

Despite this there's still a strong chance TheRaven will win as my photos generally aren't as good as her shot above.

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

I was tempted to go with a motorway shot from last night, with some of that tilt and shift, but decided on this instead:

10-22mm lens at F11 13seconds exposure on ISO400

Ok, the next theme in Night time.

Photos from between dusk and dawn

Seeing as bobbarley picked the theme, does this mean I can enter this photo?

Taken at dawn on Monday morning.

Given that that sun's well above the horizon I'd say no as it's well past dawn, dawn is the point at which the morning twilight starts, basically where you can see the sunlight but the sun hasn't crossed the horizon. Similarly dust is the time when the evening twilight ends and this marks the start of night time (after the light from the setting sun has disappeared).

Either way, the above has clearly not been shot at night time.

Tis why I ask. Happy to abide by the rules.

If you're talking specifics, the subject doesn't specify outdoor or indoor photos taken at night
