A fair old whack of money considering what you have done with. Did you not have something like an 8.5k agreed valuation on the insurance. Sure I read that somewhere!!

and yeah guess so, never really think of the car like this tho.. the engine and box alone are worth ££££££££   fully forged with Wavetrack LSD and genuine MTM big turbo kit (that will have cost the original purchaser a staggering £7k!!!! )

Yeah you would be nuts to sell that....unless someone is desperate for it and makes you an offer you can't refuse. Its the old stigma attached to the mk3 that under values most of them. But a good mk3, with no rust, is worth every penny I would say.

i agree, give it a few years..when all the craps gone.. think the value will rise

10.5k value on the insurance that must put it up quite a bit! I've chucked well over 10k on mine and only have the value as 4k or something lol, though it doesn't look anywhere near as clean as yours. I just cant be arsed with the cosmetics
