Removing EGR from a 2E
« on: 05 August 2012, 20:39 »
FAO those of you running 2.0 8v's...

I want to remove the cylinder and the associated pipework for the EGR, as I don't need/want it, or have room for it in the mk2 engine bay. I understand the solenoid has to stay plugged in otherwise it brings up a fault code...

Anyone removed it themselves and have any info on it?

If its in a mk2 i believe most people use the original mk2 head so the egr gets ditched that way. This way you would be using the original management.
