Not too bad. Wouldn't have fancied paying much more than £30 a corner for that finish though. Hopefully you didn't have to.

On another note, what are those Maxxis Victra's like? A friend of mine swears by them and yet my step dad, who had a set on a 335d Bmw, says they're utterly useless and turn to plastic below 15c.

So you are just exhaust, induction and FMIC at 298, then you Are having meth on top?? Or am I missing something?
I am not sure about the colour coding tbh, don't know if it is too much of one sold colour... Mine is going to be getting done next- Decat to standard cat back, FMIC map for me :-)

Fair enough, maybe it was the quality of the pictures. I know all too well how to take sh!t pics. At £25 a corner you've done well my old bean, your friend is a good one.

Maybe the Victra's are better suited to cars that don't weigh over 2 tonnes, ie; 335d Bmw. It would make sense as my mate Jake, has his Victra's on a Type-R.....

Yes mate they do look a lot better on. Love the colour of your motor too, it would look spanking fully colour coded.

Here's my build thread, so you can have a gander about my wheels...

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=225815.0

The next stage is a water meth injection system, I have it from good sources (Hurdy) tha it's good for another 20/30bhp. And the stage after that a APR high pressure fuel pump, I've been advised that I can expect to see at least another 30lbft of mid range torque with yet another tweaked map. I just don't have the means to justify the expense at the mo (£1300-1500).

I'd like to end up with 320bhp and 300lbft. Then if a ko4 conversion is ever on the cards it could be a straight up 400bhp, 400lbft Gti  Obviously if this were to occur an uprated single mass Sachs clutch would be necessary.....

Just had a look through your thread, some good stuff you have done there mate to be fair! So your only running, induction, TBE, FMIC and a new DV and you have hit 298? Who has done your mapping.. I want it, those are the things I want to do to my car next 300bhp will do me nicely!! :-)

Yeah that's all I'm running dude. To be honest the diffence between 270 and 300 brake isn't that noticeable unless you're driving in straight lines. I'm just chasing numbers really for sh!ts and gigs.
