steering sticking :(
« on: 02 August 2012, 19:28 »
hey guys, pulled away from a standing start against some idiot who fitted a BIG LOUD exhaust to his clio and thought it made it go faster  :lipsrsealed:

however i noticed my steering was sticking to the left through the acceleration and then popped back to centre as if nothing happened  :undecided:

wondering what this could be?

any ideas?

freshly laid tarmac hence the nice pull away lol and wouldnt it be torque on both side?

No with torque steer it pulls to one side. Normally with my car it pulls to the left.
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Most likely worn lower arm bushes,

Mine used to do the same as my left wishbone bushes had bag loads of play,
The wheel was moving back and fourth under acceleration
