Good progress, nice to see someone rolling arches rather than hacking them off with a grinder or hacksaw lol!

Cheers, yh well bort the arch roller as I couldn't justify the extortionate rental charges of one lol

Bort some new lights for the gti

Genuine hella silver edition rears. Didn't plan on buying them but won them for £10!!!!!

Thort I'd try them on the 1.6

Think they'll look better against the black

Cheers bud,  what've project you got?

Right made some progress today, only on e sh!t photo tho sorry.

Bent up a strip of steel as long as the sill, bent it over the sill edge and welded it in, to strenthen the edge up and to make it look a bit tidyer. then I sealed all of the drivers side

And thats the drivers side DONE!!

Wil be doing the same to the pas side tomorrow

I couple photos from yesterday's work

Got the pass sill all cleaned up but ran out of sealant

Took the pas side wing off, both the inner wings are rot free  8-)

Started filler work also

Cheers bud , yh I'm not sure on them on the green golf, holding out to see what they look trike on the black, might smoke them a bit so the blend in better.

A light smoke, maybe even just half of them would look good.
