Seems as I've got to take my engine to bits soon I thort may aswell give my spare inlet manifold a quick paint. Gunna fit it as a temp and redo the one off the car properly

nice work I'm debating painting my spare one now, I originally wanted the polished look but it's really hard work without the proper equipment  I've already put about 20 hrs into it so far and its no where near how I hoped  What are you using to spray yours and what colour is it going at the end cheers

Yh I wanted a polished one, was gunna get it done professionally but I know I could never keep on top of keepin it shiny    on this one I just used silver rattle cans because it was a quick jobby. One the other one when its off il shot blast it and do it properly. I want it silver (will be the same silver as the rx2s) and a red rocker cover

nice! will look smart my engine bay is on list of things to smarten up in next few months not sure on colours yet debating the red rocker as that seems the norm and looks good  Inlet i'm thinking either black or white with the rest of ancillaries to match just can't make my mind up  need to get hold of some heat proof paint

Yh was gunna do the bay letter in the year but coz of the coilpack goin thort I may as well order everything and do it now.yh I got some vht red paint not sure how good it will look tho  white would look sweet, but not fun cleaning it tho

Satin black, cracked black, and gloss black, painted done forgoten about....thats what I would do

defo gonna paint mine when I do gaskets next month! grey and red sounds pretty cool. white would be nice too but engines ain't for cleaning methinks!

Too true. Hard enough keeping the outside clean
