i've done it a few times. only ever had 1 bad experience but thats because she was from Glasgow

plentyoffish.com is the one i used.

if i'm honest i met my current and best GF on the web but not through a dating site we met through a car club! haha.

my mate met his current girl through POF.com

cant say ive ever tried internet dating sites though. normally for me its just if a girl adds me on facebook and i like the look of her, have a chat see if shes got a good personality and i can get along with her and see how things go.
just like me paul  all my girlfriends have been through facebook, this one is my ex's neighbour though

LOL high five!

tried it twice. both were fvckin mental. just did a good job of hiding it till they were in the door. don't think either of them expected to be axed, and when they were, they went even more mental. They're all damaged goods. Steer clear!

i met my other half through facebook, we had mutual friends(we were not friends at the time) and had abit of banter on their wall, almost 2 years later we have an amazing lil lad who we love to death!

online dating in my eyes is a good thing, so big up yourselves for doing it! ive not tried online dating sites but back in the day when chatrooms were kind of new(1999 ish) i would get talking to someone and whoever(mainly female) and as soon as i told them i was chinese, 95% of the time the other person would stop talking to me LOL!

I've met girls online, but never had an online date. We'd date at a bar, or a restaurant or something.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

I always believe that with online dating, 70% of the people on there are genuine, and probably nice people to boot.

20% of them are desperate.

The remaining 10% are madder than a box of frogs and should all be locked up.

Friend of mine had some blokes e-mail her on one dating site (don't know which one) and one of them was very upfront and honest; conversation went something like this:

"Really like your profile pic but you need to know something about me. I have a real fetish for feet. If this isn't your thing, please delete me now"

*DELETE*
