We now have extra workshop space and have started to use it to offer DPF repair, clean, removal services.  We also have a dealer based in North Wales who can provide the DPF services.

R-Tech DPF Removal Hinckley Contact = 01455 617233 speak to Ben

We are also working with a company to produce top quality DPF delete pipes to work with the OE and aftermarket exhaust systems.  If we get enough numbers we will be doing a huge group buy soon.  Please call us for more info.

Welcome to Removal DPF

Have you got problems or issues with your DPF? (Diesel particulate filter) Are you facing expensive repair costs? Fed up of poor MPG when the DPF is regeneratring? Having running problems relating to the DPF? Want to remove the DPF from your vehicle for good?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions then Removal DPF is the site for you. We can alter the software in the ECU (Engine Control Unit) so that the DPF can be removed from the vehicle without showing any warning lights, error codes or attempting any future regerations. Resulting in improved performance, better MPG and no more DPF related problems.

Complete, Professional DPF Removal from the UK’s best…

We have workshops conveinently located in the North West, North Wales and the Midlands. With mobile engineers based all over the UK, should you just want the DPF removal software service carrying out.

All vehicles fitted with a DPF will need to have the filter replaced at some point as part of the service schedule if it hasn’t already become overloaded. This can be very expensive, for instance a BMW 330d replacement DPF will cost £1247+ VAT and around £90+VAT per hour for fitting, with the job taking 3-4 hours! The DPF is not a legal requirement or is it needed for the MOT test so the most cost effective solution is to remove the DPF from the exhaust system and deactivate the DPF functions from the ECU, resulting in a complete guarranteed solution with no further DPF related issues.

Its shocking how many people are having DPF issues....

Never had a single problem with mine over 49,000 miles; 25k of which is under my ownership and nearly 20k of them were remapped miles  :smug:

I think its a combo of people not driving them properly and not getting it looked at as soon as the light appears on the dash.  Lack of understanding / education about what they are doesnt help either.....

MK5??  Not that I know of.  They first appeared on the 170 back in 2006  :undecided:  The newest CR engines have them on both the 140 and 170.

Not sure about the lower power models  :undecided:

Stick your head under the bonnet / car and if you see something like this

hanging off the turbo then its got one lol

Sorted Il check it later,
Yeah Mk5 golf PD105. I hope it hasnt I cba with another potential problem to go on it.

Seems all new cars these days have stupid useless stuff on which are not required and costs the earth to repair if they break!
I like having a 12 year old car just dont like the fuel consumption but atleast it doesnt break much lmao

Like i said in my post above, it depends on how its driven and how quickly the potential problem gets sorted.  A lot of people tend to ignore the fact the light goes on and then off without finding the reason why........

9/10 times the sensors fail on the DPF's so they clog up beyond the point they can regenerate.  Think VW / Audi are on like the 8th revision of just one of the pressure sensors for the 170 PD TDI

It's all about emissions, emissions, emissions,.............

Im so glad it doesnt have one then, the problem iv got is the missis drives it around town nowhere else!
So most weekends il use it and take it for a good run to clear the sh!t out.

Wish we went for a polo 1.4tdi really as the pd105 isnt that good on diesel if anything I think its sh!te.
£20 would typically get us around 120miles, Driving my 1.8t id get around 110 miles from that.

If its only being driven around town then thats where diesel's are about on a par MPG wise with the petrol equivalent.

As always the smaller engines in the Golf make it feel very underpowered   There are ways to help with that though
