How do you experience the 19 inch drive....
He strikes me as enjoying that extra inch kinda guy!
If you follow the river north from Milau you end up in the Gorges du Tarn, fabulous place, spent a week flowing with the river in a canoe getting very very drunk on cheap plonk!
Sadly time was precious on the way home, odd as there were so many Engineers amongst us. (British Designed that bridge ya know!! something the French don't mention too often)
Did Avignon to home in the Uk 715 miles and took 10.5 hours of driving time only (ferry and stops added another 2.5 hours).
That's good going, the eurostar does it in about 6 1/2 I think.
