Yeh that's right for HP, not if you have a personal unsecured loan.

My gut tells me is a no no, its whether you feel brave enough to take the risk of the engine/gearbox going pop and them finding out you had modified it and hit you up with the bill as the lease is void.

Te other side is whether your company insurance covers modified cars, as that's another disaster waiting to happen if you were unfortunate enough to be involved in a serious accident.

All worst case scenarios and probably a bit ott, but you get the idea.

Fair point about the insurance. Too much uncertainties to bother risking it. Ahwell. Just means I'll have to buy a cheap little run around to tinker with :-)

Simple - NO....

It's your job on the line as well as the insurance aspect....

Just not worth the risk of getting caught!

You need written permission from the lease company to alter the car in any way from standard, even if it is only something like a towbar or a cd player, if you spec it as an option from the dealer your fine, but you can't change it after this without permission.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good! :rolleyes:
