had same prop mate ended up slowly drove it round to my local vw mod garage an even he had prob at first but used a big bar an weg under top plate an loads od wd40 an had to use air gun. just give him a tenner for it.

The top plate nuts came off fine. It's the nuts that hold the top mount and bearing down that is the problem. Said fcuk it he's gona get coilys instead now
Anybody want to. Buy some apex 60mm lowering spring?
