I really liked the 2 Mk3s - the red anni and Brad's black one (oo er missus!!!). My first GTi in 1997 was a Mk3 so I still have a soft spot for them even though they get a bad press.  I do love my Mk2 too so maybe I should go buy a Mk3 to add to the collection!!!!

also got  a minor scratch on my front wing which i have fixed (it machined out easily).. cars were too close parked for my liking and something ill be addressing next time im at a show

S*** that's a bummer. Of all places you don't expect to get a ding at a VW show as we're all there to celebrate each other's car. Glad to see it'll get sorted though.

On a more positive note though, I really enjoyed Sunday. Our stand was quality and the people on it were very friendly and appreciative of each other's cars. Just a nice day all round.

Thanks again to Brad for organising it - I hope the ding doesn't put him off doing it again

Cheers mate
Wont put me off from doing it again, i built the car to enjoy and also for others to enjoy
No point having it locked away

Dint is just a regular parking type, cars were too close it's something I was annoyed about on the day. Our space was not big enough for the amount of cars we had

It will be good as new the door next week ;-)
