Ah cheers for that i will take it on board.
Its very rare i drink nowadays as i work the weekend shift but i had last weekend off for a car show and my 31st.I immediatley went into beer monster mode and drunk like i used to but im guessing my body isnt used to that and it could have been a shock to the system.

I remember the tuesday/wednesday wake ups after a weekend of clubbing/djing/doing naughty things and that use to scare the crap out of me,proper paralyse head stuck to the pillow stuff.
But this seems very different.Problem is because im all too aware of it now i find myself listening to my breathing pattern to see if im gunna snuff it or not ha ha.

I dont get ill/sick etc so this is annoying. Its a sign of being old and smelling of wee :(

The smelling of wee part may be down to you pissing the bed, hence why the missus smacks you in the face.

I'm suprised you haven't already got a gimp mask lurking around..

I'm not going to provide anything insightful, just going to take the piss..

Are you overweight? Do you have OSA?

Unlikely to snuff it as the primal reflexes kick in to keep you alive.

Obstructive sleep apnoea. Look it up and see if any of the symptoms fit.

Had sleep apnoea for most of my adult life but only found out about it about 10 years ago.

best thing you can do is tell your missus to play with yer balls! Apparently that works!

my brother has this, but his heart actually stops too

He's passed out a few times now, worst was on the road which he fractured his cheekbone and generally smashed his face up. He's being treated for some sort of heart problem which intermittently doesn't allow enough blood supply to his brain... not wanting to worry you or anything lol
