not got the car back yet, it's still at the garage, I'm still expecting a dear one, :(

erm, well unless you told them " Just fix EVERYTHING " then i would be expecting a call before ANY work is carried out

Chuff - surely "Idea weight" should be "Ideal weight" in your signature for the Mk2?

  it does  :undecided:
Those mk4 wheels are much too heavy..

Hehe yes they are indeed.  And a little white   .

Great signature though, I lolled.  Also while I'm on it - it also says "clincally" instead of "clinically".  Warning...I am the Grammar Police.

nah, you may think you are, others have been here a lot longer before you arrived   :lipsrsealed:

after about two months and about £1000 worth of work and parts, wee Golfie passed his MOT yesterday, I should get him back tonight, gutted about the price but glad to be getting him back.  Hoping to notice a huge difference after all the work on it, hopefully a much better drive now.

I can't remember everything that was done as I was told on phone,

Not handy telling my wife how much it cost for the MOT of a car she thinks is an old banger and that we don't need 2 cars :D

But I'm looking forward to getting him back :D
