Nice one J. I'm probably going for the S3 though going by how much you're loving yours and by the reviews I'm reading. Battery life on it is much better too apparently.

The One X definitely has a better screen, I just wish Samsung didn't use a f@cking PenTile Matrix screen on the S3! though it may account for part of the better battery life as it has 1/3 less subpixels eating power. I should never have put them side by side

So as an everyday phone which one would you have? I charge mine up every night so battery life is not that important so long as it makes it till the evening. Which has a better camera? I do like HTC Sense...

Snap. I'm still undecided myself although my upgrade isnt quite up as I first thought so might just ignore these two phones for a couple of months and see what's on the horizon then.

Personal preference really, if I hadn't ordered all the accessories for the S3 already I'd be more inclined to have a One X as a daily because of the screen. I'm still undecided on the screen of the S3, it's still a bloody good screen compared to what else is available but the difference is more noticeable now I've had them side by side. It's a hard choice, they're both very nice phones that are ridiculously fast.

The S3 also comes with more features baked into TouchWiz than Sense on the One X.

Have a good play with both and if possible on a friends phone away from the store sales people who try rush you into a decision, Voda give you 7 days to change your phone if you're not happy with it btw

Don't have a chance to play with the phones apart from at the store, so will have to make a decision beforehand, or at the store. That gadget to use BT keyboard and wireless mouse with the S3, is it available on the one x?

Not sure, I would assume HTC include USB OTG (on the go) now days, it is a very cool feature!

Apparently there is a 1.7Ghz HTC beast coming out before 1st October... you might want to see what that's all about?

I've fiddled with the display settings and set it to Movie mode rather than Standard and the difference between the One X and S3 is less noticeable now, but still there if you look for it. I'll stick with the S3 as my daily for now.
