Santorini is nice and has black volcanic beaches and you can fly there direct from UK.

Also if you do fancy a night of partying ios is the next island along.

Yeah Santorini is nice, I was there a couple of weekd ago. Food and drink very reasonable too...

Beer = 2 - 4 Euros
Lamb Kleftiko = 8 Euros

If you're skint you can get a Gyros for 2 Euros!

Santorini is primarily a couples destination, so ideal if you want somewhere quite to take the GF.  Thira has the main nightlife scene but you can still find bars and a couple of clubs around the island.  The Island is very scenic but very very small, we did the island on quad bikes in a day, so unless you want to sit on the beech all day you will probably get bored.

I went to Pefkos (Rhodes) with the other half last year, stunning beaches, lots of restaurants and bars but all family/couple friendly. Perfect for a couples holiday :wink:

Nice stuff guys. We want quads, jetskis, watersports, boat hire, sightseeing, beaches and a decent hotel with a nice pool, although that's not really important as we'll be out all day.

Santorini and Thira sound good, will look into them.
