Looking for advice on mods!
« on: 19 June 2012, 10:46 »
Ive been considering a number of mods for a while now as have become slightly bored with the power from my 1.8T 150..

From what i have gathered a forge 007p is highly recommended, is it worth it? Is it easy to install by yourself?

Also I'm confused on what exhaust system to go for; whats the price difference between a full system and just the back end?

Also i'm thinking about getting a milltek, but want an exhaust system thats subtle in noise terms (but you can still hear that deep noise), any reccomendations?

And finally... if someones eve bought non-genuine front + rear valances from ebay, is it worth it? or best to go for genuine?

Lots of questions i know, would appreciate some help though!

I would not fit the exhaust yet, go for a remap and a forge d/v then do the exhaust at a later stage.

with the valance your better off getting gen ones but they are getting harder to come by unless you pay ££££££ the rep ones are pretty good as long as they are abs plastic but the decision is yours
