Do you know anyone running anthing close to that on standard internals?

I have two mates with VR6Ts, one around 360BHP (FWD, in a Corrado), another over 480BHP (4WD in a Rallye)...both on forged pistons and rods, but a standard crank. Neither run spacer plates.
Neither would ever suggest you can get 500 BHP on standard pistons/rods.

Maybe you can...for a matter of minutes.

There is so much bullsh!t and 'apparently's on the internet...speak to those who have built them and it's neither easy or cheap.
But boy, are they quick once done.

i Know someone running 320 on standard internals..... i wouldnt want to run more than that to be honest.....

id say any more than 300 is pushing it on standard

My mate runs 340 low boost and thats how the car has been for the past 4-5 years. Standard engine but with spacer plate

Engine has only ever failed due to a broken pump fin blocking a vein.

How much you trust it is another thing....

Mines gonna be running around 325-350 on standard internals with plate and custom fan set up

I'm going for 290-300 pointless anymore than that in a fwd car I used to have a 2.1 16v fiesta turbo that was mental and running 30psi and 328 hp but u just can't get the grip down even running slicks it would spin them up even with the extra weight of the vr over the front wheels I still think grip will suffer on another note who's the best mapper for all these vrts or are people running different management mega jolt mega squirt for ex
