Started to do the annual detail last week, clayed and polished, ready to glaze and seal........feck, misplaced my glaze and sealant. Was going away so I had to say feck it and just whacked one layer of dodo on her.

My question is, when my new glaze and sealant arrives how should I go about removing the wax without marring the paint? Or an I going to have to polish her again?

Getting sold soon!

Wash in strong apc solution and yes I would go for a quick hand polish or run some glaze over it by machine quickly then a wipe down and apply your sealant.

Good advice. Got any G101 or Megs APC? Perhaps soak it, then give it a spray all over, then wash and rinse with a mitt and your choice of car shampoo.

Don't forget pictures

Good to hear you've finally managed to do it, I think tho you will find that you will need to wax it, you get much better protection imo and the beeding is ace...

Had dodo purple haze pro on last year and yes the beading was excellent, the reason that in trying sealant only is in the hope that water will sheet off better leaving the car dry after raining. When waxed I just used to end up with water spots everywhere due to the beading .
