Sounds like the perfect project to be honest.. I like the way there is an alternative to everything when your in to VW :)  :cool:

just been offered an older shape vw caddy van for 450 lol. needs a new engine mount on 1 side as it knocks wile driving,needs general tlc but its a 1.9 diesel,perfect for work mileage.

hmmm thinking a little project/work horse could be on the cards!  :grin:

i see that picture on google, looks nice! had a look at the caddy i was offered yesterday, not in to bad a shape! drives like a train considering its age and a small knocking noise.
its dark green though  :rolleyes: but with a few things needing doing and rubbing down the colour could soon be changed lol.
