new maf, same problem

so i've just been and got a new maf sensor n i'm still getting the problem when i plug the electric plug back in, judering and loss of power then suddenly kicks in, when  removed its fine. could it be the actual plug or something like that?? might have to see about putting it on a vagcom, if that will show up what the fault is? on the up side i went scrappy and got new door strip which was needed and another spare maf sensor and air pipe etc new door handle. 15 rupees. not bad.

Told you to check all pipes after the sensor. If air is getting in after the sensor it will cause it to do that! Get for vacuum pipes etc

chill out.. i have checked the pipes etc, fully checked them. i've sorted it now anyway.. cheers

Yeah - cough up bud... 3 years from now some poor soul on Google with exactly the same problem as you is going to need the solution.

It's all very well replacing the MAF but you may find that there's a fault code that will still be showing up so get it plugged into VAGCOM and clear the code.

i changed all the pipes to the sensor, and the maf sensor and the metal pipe it's attatched to, cleaned all of it aswell with contact cleaner and it seemes to have work. so new maf wasn't faulty, must have been something else. like you said tweed, it could have been the pipes. but changed the whole lot and it's running a lot better, just abit jumpy on the idle. cheers for the help anyway..
