Painting your standard Wheels just tells people you couldn't afford nice alloys lol. Save your money buy some nice alloys then paint them orange.

Your missing the point bud. He ain't gunna spray a set of shiny new wheels orange. He's spraying his cheap wheels coz its a cheap and tempory mod that's gunna look a bit different. Same with me, I was running sick coloured steels on my mk3 which looked quite cool. But now I got a new set of wheels, no paints getting any where nere them..... For now

I went yellow with mine, got some badges and colour matched them all.

Pig to keep clean but different.

Just need to refurb my new set of rims for summer.

Don't agree at all.

Surely a set of refurbed OEm alloys will look miles better then some halfords tat..

The wheels I Have are not standered gti wheels. Yes they where bought with the car new but were a dealer option so they are not seen as standered wheels. Plus as said before I plan on saving for a decent set of rims anyway. So saying save your money and buy a nice set just shows that you have not read what has been said. It's will not cost me a single penny to do. Plus I want to try out a theme of having orange indicators and wheels all round and see if it looks ok for a wile till I get my decent rims.
Funny thing is my mate who scraps cars for a living just rang me up and said I have a cl sitting here waiting to be scrapped mate come and take what you want.

So I now have cl orange front indicators and spare fog blanks to play with and a set of cl rear lights that are alot brighter colour orang on them to fit into what I'm trying out.
On the rear lights im actuly gona tint the bottom but dragon green and leave the top orange. Just to see how it all works together.
