I'm from delightful Rochdale :cool:

Mines'a Mk2 16v and my mate has an almost identical 8v

Both be up for a pub meet.

My best mate lives in Warrington (well, Stockton Heath) so I know that end quite well.

Should be going to Tatton park show.

Anyone going to GTi International?

I'm in between Leeds and Bradford, I've got a black mk2 16v. Quite a few tasty looking mk2's about, anyone on here own one of them? I know you're hiding somewhere...

Oh yeah ! Between Leeds and Bradford ! That normally means you're from Bradford ! :wink: Where abouts are you as I go "between Leeds and Bradford" quite a bit myself :grin: I don't see many mk2s about though.

Im in liverpool  :grin: I got a tornado pink J plate 8v (soon to be made red again when i find the time!) with window tints (boo!) you can't miss it.

And i know there are lots of tasty NW mk2's - was passed by a very sexual black cabby only yesterday  :drool:

Mines got tints on, self done, fading chrome to black to go with my chromed look i trying to build on it, tints look good on all golfs, if not why did VW make the green windows??? :laugh:
Gunna look out for you, in Liverpool quite alot, always on the look out for smart people with Mk2's! :wink:
We are the the select  :grin: with car taste like ours who needs anything else :cool:

Ah, the posh part of town eh ! :wink: Is Ilkley moor classed as the country these days !!!!! :undecided: I used to live in Yeadon until I split with the missus last year, I'm now stuck at my parents for the time being and they're near the BRI, but I have to go through Saltaire and Shipley to get to Yeadon all the time when I take my son to school.

You're not the lad with a white mk2 and also a green mk3 VR6 are you ? I waved a couple of times when I first saw him, but he never acknowledged me so I don't bother now.  :huh: Although he drives past Saltaire so obviously doesn't work in Shipley but you may know him.

I'm in Stafford now, but I'm from Northwich and back there pretty often as my mum still lives there. In any case, I'm usually back there for anything car-related as she has a garage (which I don't) and the Staffs regions of the sites I use are always non-existant or very very quiet.

lol well I ain't quite in Ilkley, a little village nearby, which definitely is the country!! Mine's a black 16valver, if the lad you're talking about has got long hair, then that'll be my brother in law. I'll tell him to wave back in future! What do you drive mate?

You in Addingham then, somewhere like that ? I'm not sure if the lad in the green VR6 has long hair as he always wears a hat and facial hair :laugh: . I drive the green mk1 Rivage cabby in my sig, if he's into Golfs then he'll know who you mean as we pass each other every other morning just about.
