SIDE SKIRT FITMENT?....BORA GOLF?

Evenin crew, just bought a bora 150ST LC6X 1.8t, and been thinking about what to do to it, cant leave it standard.....

my question is with regards to side skirts, do they go over the existing skirt? as i cant see any way of removing the existing skirts on the car (ie; seems like its the chassis, as opposed to a skirt) im guessing maybe r32 skirt investment, colour code then bond on with tiger seal or somthin'?..... anyone any tips?

also just bought an Oettinger Rear Boot Spoiler for 50 sheets, but not sure if its missing any gaskets, as the test fit looked a bit odd, i was thinking of cutting up a sheet of rubber (a footwell mat) to provide a barrier between the spoiler and the boot to protect the paint, and again silicone/ tiger seal it to the boot, after colour coding it......

dont know about the skirts but i would use some bondo to attach them and as for the spoiler i would use some bolts small of course and over the bolt holes use some double sided sticky foam pads as it will make a seal and stop water penetrating through the holes

yeah, whn i get round to it basically gonna have barriers between all the surfaces, dont want any paint scratchin'.... im deffo not drillin into the boot, saw some dodgy rear spoilers on fleabay that req'd drilling..... the votex ones look trick, but seem to only be avail stateside

hmmm dont know then all the ones ie seen glued on look poo is it the small lip boot spoiler you refering to if so then bondo should be ok for it

my bad you did say  :embarassed: i would definately be bolting it on but its upto you what you choose of course... you wouldnt want to drive down the road and have it fall off  mind you id like to see your face if that happened  i nearly pissed my pants with that vision in my head then

it does clamp on but gonna invent some sort of gasket kit me thinks, to protect the paint, are there many bora bods on here?

offered up the spoiler, to see what it sits like, LC6M colour on LC6X car, if you squint your eyes it matches
