Insured the gf on the golf, great expense,

I thought adding a split arse onto your policy brought the premium down? Or is she only 17 and put 6 cars through the sticks already?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

If you knew my gf you'd be amazed the suits in insurance don't make it tripple digits :-)

My girlfriend has borrowed my ed35 tonight for the first time tonight as her car has gone for a MOT. I'm a bit nervous to be honest

My good lady refuses to drive my car - frightened of pranging it - that's a result

Just means I get taxi'd in a Civic but that's OK with me!

See I have this dilema, Insured the gf on the golf, great expense, tis going to be the most expensive taxi ride home from the pub (when it eventually happens), but still am very reluctant to let her drive it, even though it is just a golf and it is very easy to drive, she doesn't look both ways when pulling out of junctionsand I fear for the alloys.

Could be worse, at least I don't have to put fuel in her car too.....

I'd probably end up putting black stuff in her petrol pug anyway.

Not being rude, but it sounds like your mrs needs a awareness course or something if she don't look both ways at junctions ect...very risky business!

Well i checked the ed35 from top to bottom after the better half was away with it and it's looking good...

apart from the seat moved, mirrors moved and the smell of perfume...

And of course the lack of fuel....
