Why would the wheels effect how low you can go? What's wrong with them!

265 is a lot of tyre! What width are the wheels?

I'd go with a 225 or or 245 on a 9.5j that way you have the Clarence to lower it and stop the rubbing. You could even put a bit of camber on to help as well.

rite basically its on some ancient jamex lowering springs, but i think its near enough collapsed. my drivers side had dropped alot compared to passengers. Im getting the engineer to take 5mm off the adapters to bring it in abit, also i will change the tyres to 245 if they will go on, to thats an extra 15 mm it will come in. This should be enough to bring it inside the arch. it only just catches the tyre. Theres plenty of clearence around the reat of the shocks etc.

All of that souls help, the front is another story. VW made it
A complete ball ache to get the mk4 low!!

Depends on how low you want to go you may need a new anti roll bar, maybe a chassis notch and all that but lower it first and take it from there

i dont want it super low like, just tastefully lowered, just enough to look nice but not over the top to fook up my tyres.
