just popping my head up to say this is an awesome build. There are always going to be haters but anyone who hates this one obviously shouldnt be anywhere near a vdub. well done so far and good luck going forward.

GTI is not a trim level. It is a lifestyle.

And this is how I'm planning to make my VR6 lump look.

Iinlet manifold is very strange for a R32 / VR6 lump  :undecided: cannot see the reasons behind running it as it will lose torque and power.

Josh and sharki thanks very much.

Just got back from worthersee with a real spring in my step to get going again. Sold 1 of the few cars I have last night so got a nice little amount to spend.

Even started her up last night and will be taking it to the unit today where it will be staying until finished.

Wayne you have allready pointed out in my thread that I do this and that i apparently make things worse so im a bit surprised as to why you think I have changed lol. SRI for now will be only for looks BUT it will play a big part later down the line when I turbo it.

I was not saying don't use but just asking the question or thinking behind running it.

At the end of the day the standard inlet is long for a reason.
