So much love for this! Will you eventually paint under the arches?

Cheers guys.

Yeah me and my mate where speaking about the car the other day and decided we will paint the arches the same colour. A colour that has now been chosen! ;)

Also picked up a few more bits yesterday inc full TT dash, Audi handles, TT filler cap and a few US bits. Was a expensive day. Just need the US front bumper and tailgate to turn up and then I will have everything.

Also decided I'm going to wait and bring it out complete at UD 2013 rather than players!!

This thing just gets more and more epic every time you update lol! TT dash, Audi handles, TT filler, Air, perfect fitment, it's going to be such a shame to use this as a daily! Tell the truth, do you honestly think it will be used as such? I reckon, once its finished and the MK2 is sold, we will see another 'daily' turn up and the whole cycle will start all over again!

Yeah it was lewy.

I wasn't on the pvw stand as such but Steve Denton told me to put mine at the front as said it was too good to be at the back which was bloody wicked. Was hoping someone would have been interested in buying it.

Little pic update for you all

Picked up a few bits from edition yesterday and go to say thanks to chris and Matt for selling me the bits and bringing them from America.

Chris sold me the dash and everything to go with aswell as the handles and TT filler cap.

Under all the stuff in pics is what Matt brought me back from America inc. US mirror glass, US door pocket liners and US rear console.

Typically tho as I've bought the dash I won't need the console and I've ended up with 2 TT filler caps with surrounds so if interested in either keep an eye out for my for sale ads.

Honestly dan everything being built and planned for this car is about being a daily/show car. Suspension was bought for speedbumps at school when dropping/picking my daughter up, underneath is being protected for winter use, boot build was designed around me still be able to use it for the weekly tesco shop, the colour will be simple so repairs won't be noticed and the seats when done will still be a nice cloth so not to sweat my ass off in a leather clad interior. Even when I smooth the bay I will still keep the air con and heating. I will just hide it all. I think I'm even going to scrap my vr plans so to keep fuel costs low although throttle bodies are planned. A daily this will defo be!!!

Even the wheels are stainless so they will survive winter abuse!!

My vr6 highline parts car after a clean has tuned out to be quite nice so that will be a daily this winter so could have the option to use that as I now don't need anything from it. However I may flog this early next year for a profit when the mk3 is done.

Here she is tucked away in the front garden
