I got bored with the 996, the 996 is tail happy but I was never a good enough driver to get the back out and keep it under control - a lot of people seem to get fun from doing this which could explain my feelings towards it.

The feedback from the steering was great and it give a great sense of occassion, but the numbers ramp up on the speedo and it never felt "fast" to me as it was so smooth and eventually I went back to the E46 M3.

Still great cars though.


Lol no I have its posher, more economical brother  :laugh: :laugh:

Interestingly the owner of this had chopped in his E46 M3 for the Porsche

Lol. I have a "mapped" 996turbo and its breathtakingly fast  :smiley:
Makes my Gti feel very very slow
