Really need help on rear coilovers sorry!!!!

Sorry for new thread but though it get a quicker response.

im putting the rear coilovers in my car and for some reason the thread at the top isn't coming through.
i'v realised that the top spring on the coilovers is very lose ie i can move it up and down with ease. (is that normal)

iv jack the rear drum up as far as it can go and still not enough threat through the top to fit nuts and washers.

Might sound daft but you can physically pull up the top thread by hand to extend the shocker part then when the top mount is in place it holds the springs tight and you need to wind them all the way up to extend. Fit them and then lower.

my bad, just realised i left the old rubber mount stuck in the top.

please delete if possible
