where you have that new white filter sitting... is that where it belongs?? i dont think theres one in my car.. i would have noticed it surely
and what is it? pollen filter?

its no fun being a girl trying to learn all this stuff you know... i go to bed dreaming of quiet manifolds ( im still to work out where it is!!) 

no doubt this will  be edited as soon as i get my shoes on and pop the bonnet

yer it's the pollen filter an it will be in the same place u need to undo the scuttle panel round window there a couple of plastec bolt u need to remove first. 5min job an will only cost couple of £ for new one.

oohh its under there is it.. thats why i havent seen it  will have a look tomorrow 
been working on trying to stop the rattle on the heat guard today... noticed at least 2 blots missing so replaced them but the front wouldnt shhh.. took it too the garage( i couldnt get to it) and the only thing that they could recommend was ripping the heat shield off... i told him to hold his horses while i asked you lot what the long term implications were.. cant be good can it? tho Len did say rip it off.. he just didnt say wether or not to replace 
 anyway.. yeaaah poor me eh  im determined mind fair play.. a year ago i wouldnt have even known what a heat sheild was 
 its all thanks to you lot and your fab ability to explain nicely
incidently i did the most un feminine thing ive ever done in my life today... when i went to the garage.. its a back st yardy mess type place.... i actually got under the car on the floor and showed him what id already done...
 you wanna see the state of me.. wouldnt be in this mess if id bought a merc

ha ha i it is am is easy to do.

iv had a look under mine as well an heat shield is in same con an just tie it back up for now. going to change it but not untill i get my self a new exhaust. i would leave it on for now an replace it when u can.

well keep up the work ya doing well an on the plus side i think it makes u feel good about ya self when u do a good job. everyone need help every now and then an there is a lot of good people on here happy to help where they can.

good on ya an bet he look at ya like really a girl is getting dirty ha ha bet he got a shock  but keep it up an u will get there is just a pain at time's 

for the merc past a new one to day an there was on the side of road with loads of smoke coming from engine lol so ya not save in any car really.
