Definitely agree. Audi's, Mercs and the occasional Jag's always enjoy driving stuck to your bumper. But to be fair so do VW Passats. I think most of these cars are company cars and as such is why they drive so dangerously. It's always fun to look in your rear view mirror to see an audi drivers head because hes so close to the back of your car.

I still personally think that white van men are the worst though! Had one hurtling up behind me at 3x the speed of light the other day. Makes me angry
Current - MK7 Golf GTI - Tornado Red, 5 Door, DSG, Performance Pack, Dynamic Chasis Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Discover Navigation, Dynaudio.

On Order - MK7 Golf R - Pearlescent Black, 3 Door, DSG, Vienna Leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear View Camera, High Beam Assist, Keyless Entry, Dynaudio (Tech Pack)

All gone.

Now;

MK7 Golf R - Lapiz Blue, 5 Door, DSG, Carbon Nappa, Discover Nav Pro.

I very rarely get any hastle of any sort because of what i drive, it may be because mines grey and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb or perhaps i just don't provoke it by driving like a spanner!

PASSATS!!!!

Completely forgot about them. They are by far the worst. The best bit is you think they of all people would know that a GTI is faster than their 140bhp rep-mobile.

So the moral is to buy a dull colour and no one bothers you...

I started this thread as I was suprised and horified at how badly at few Audi drivers drive their cars, a new experience to me.  For the record I don't dislike Audi's.  Infact:-
- 1980's Audi Quattro = respect
- RS8= respect
- TTRS = respect
- BMW M3 = respect
- Porsche 911 = respect
- decent VDubs = respect
- any good driver = respect

Rubish drivers in any of the following
- White vans
- reps in low spec Audi's
- reps in low spec BM's or Merc's
- boy racers in pimped Vauxhalls
- Seat drivers who wished they'd bought VDubs
- anyone who does not own their car or wished they owned a better car, so drive like a looney...

All I want to say is.....

'Life is not a destination but a journey, so enjoy the ride'...

Wouldn't agree with that. That's a whole separate can of worms you've opened there.

For the most part I really like SEAT models. The new Ibiza is much better looking than the Audi A1 for example. The Leon is also a very good looking car for those who want something just a bit different from a standard Golf. Yep I must admit that much of SEAT's substance comes from VW spare parts bins but I think it's a bit far to say that all SEAT drivers wish they had VW's. If the Leon Cupra offered DSG at the time I was buying my MK6 GTI then I'd have been more than tempted.

OK.  I was not trying to do a 'topgear cool wall' but some drivers are swept along my their machines and therefore drive a bit faster than the rest?  So if I saw a Porsche GT2 in my rear view mirror, I'm going to let him pass.

I did not mean all seat owners.  Seat Leon FR+ Supercopa (at 22,500K) = respect...

So if you saw a 1.0 Nissan Micra storming up behind you in lane 3 when lane 2 was clear, and him overtaking you would have made no differene whatsoever to how you were going merrily about your business. you'd hinder his progress?

If someone want's to drive like a tw@, whatever they are in, I let them go. The sooner they get further away from me, the less likely I am likely to be involved in their inevitable accident.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Agreed - Dont you hate those people who sit in the wrong lane on the motorway.  I always move in.  There should be a law against it!

Anyone who likes what they have = respect.

Anyone who doesn't like what they have simply didn't do their homework before choosing.
