What's the easiest way of getting my Abf shiny, and wat are the best products for cleaning engine bays, never really bothered before but from the photos I've seen you can get them looking really good

Steam cleaning is the best way, just make sure all electrical components are covered.

The other option is a can of engine cleaner and elbow grease.

I would ensure it is totally dry,  Spray electrical connectors with WD-40 to help seal them

Lag it in TFR (traffic film remover) or a good de-greaser,  and steam wash it.

Make sure the coil pack is coverd - belive me... it WILL KILL IT

Dont WD-40 after, it just seals water in the connectors, cover what you can.

Disconnect the battery before you clean anything with high pressure water or steam under the hood.

Brake cleaner worked for me.

This stuff is awesome, work it in with a brush and spray bottle then rinse off.
Tough grime can be loosened by using it neat.
Rinse it well or your car will smell of oranges as it burns off with engine heat

Get car up to temp and get the jet wash out did mine with some degreaser and jet wash the trick is to do a bit at a time and leave the engine running and if it cuts out re start the engine agane. If it will not start leave it 10 15 min to dry out a bit and it will restart agane

GUNK from Halfrauds is decent stuff actually. May take a second application for really thick oil and wax that are around the chassis legs and strut turrets, but it will do the job well. As said, take a couple of minutes covering up electrical connections to begin with including dizzy and coil, and it will be fine.
