Try budget, got mine for £170 tpft with 7 years ncb.

Don't use Tesco they are sh!t, I'm 23 been driving 3 years now, 2 years no claims 3 points on my licence and to insure my mk3 gti 8v fully comp will cost me without declaring any mods £800ish from kwik fit if I go through moneysupermarket.com or £850ish if I use HIC off the insurance bit of this site and do declare the mods.

Mind you if anyone is unfortunate enough to live anywhere like London they will pay at least double what I pay for a like for like policy.

I was being quoted in excess of £400 last year, I am in my 30's but only had 1 years NCB as it is a second car. All my NCB go on that.

With these guys i only pay £120 Fully Comp with limited milage of 4K. It was so cheap as they classed it as a "Classic" policy.

try admiral, i'm 20 (just), 1 years ncb, 2 years licence held, now on a mk3 gti 8v paying £132 a month, just had some quotes for when i get a years no claims at the end of the year and i'll be paying under £1000, weird thing is, a 16v is cheaper by a few pounds
