moving along nicely Chuff

well after a couple of weeks

a couple of offers for it

and a fair few purchases I thought we should go back to the start 

Lets actually DRIVE the car for the first time.

so after 4 hours in the vectra today I took Clive for a drive 

It starts, it moves, forwards at the second attempt, the linkages are goosed. 

all gears work 

it stops, eventually 

it steers ( or it could be classed as wallows ) 

Tickover is high, think the carb needs overhauling / replacing 

so, tomorrow will be tinkering day

The Apec springs and Boge shocks i picked up from Vaughn ( cheers again ) look nearly new, so just gotta find out how low it actually is

All easy fixes for a man of your skills So have it lowered and running sweet by lunchtime tomorrow...

lowered and aligned by 3pm is the plan 

was going to do it tonight, but couldnt be arsed
