Sounds pretty solid then. You might want to check behind those sill covers.  :lipsrsealed:
there fine only stickers on the cabrio mate and it has no gti kit on so its all ok i looked under the door sill too whilst i was doing it

So why on earth was someone willing to chuck it? Craziness.... Ah well, it's in your hands now so all OK.

they brought 2 new cars mate a 04 smart for two and a 2012 skoda yeti  then they were going to sell it to we buy any car and they offered them £500 and she said it was an insult and she'd rather scrap it due to just finishing paying £8k for it with finance  and they said they wanted to give it to me as a project so i accepted and my dads going to be using it for long journeys and weekends as im only 17 (insurance :lipsrsealed:) and it is bigger than the 206cc so better for long journeys as has bit more space  :nerd:

i'd be using wet n dry on that... followed by 00 gauge wire wool with farrecla polish and then finishing off with a good quality metal polish like autosol or belgom alu

no reason why you can't achieve this, by hand, with this method....

halfords do a multi pack of various grades... get that and work your way down from the harshest to the smoothest
