re coding rcl with 1 key

hi everyone, i only got 1 key with my golf and the rcl has never worked, because i only have the 1 key i cant re programme it in the door as i dont have a key to put in the ignition! its driving me mad opening it manually, do i have to go to the dealers or is there another trick?  also the light does blink on the remote and the battery has been changed.  any ideas???
2000 indigo blue golf gti AUM, full oe r32 kit, xenon headlights, r32 wheels, r32 interior trims,steering wheel,pedals and foot rest, h&r springs, r32 milltek cat-back, stage 1 remap, forge diverter valve.

If you have access to VCDS (Vagcom) you can recode the key to the CCM with it :afro:

Vagtacho is used for:

Getting the SKC from compatible instrument clusters
Reading and writing the eprom of compatible instrument clusters
Matching (coding) keys to the imobiliser in the cluster

Modifying the eprom of the cluster then writing it back with vagtacho, you can enable MTE and illuminated needles on certain immo3 clusters and the welcome message on a full FIS VDO immo3 cluster.

That is it as far as Vagtacho goes, it doen't do fault code reading or anything else that isn't related to the instrument clusters on the VAG range.
