I think you're missing the point of what this is

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I understand what it's for, but I think that for a big chunk of the public (like bobbarley) would rather it be inside a protective case and then they can wire it up to TV or whatever they want and have internet on it. That way there's no risk of ruining the unit. As you know static electricity that we humans carry in us can ruin the delicate PCB. All it needs is a removable case so you can build it into a TV or whatever you want.

I'll have to dig out the product.

IIRC it was more expensive ~£100 - but had a Atom 330, 2GB RAM, CF/SD/2.5"HDD support, RGB/DVI/HDMI, Audio, 10/100/1000 LAN, WiFi. And it was cased properly about the size of 3x 2.5" HDDs stacked.

so 4 times more expensive, 3 times the size and you class that as similar!!!

the final release will ship in a case, if you watch the video the creator states he wants to give it a transparent case.

This first batch is for the enthusiast to get their hands on and start playing with.

But about 10x as useful ...

Fairly similar if you ask me. Its hardly a new concept, little PC - not sure why its in such high demand
