1.8t won't start when up to temp
« on: 26 February 2012, 10:13 »
Had my car remapped on friday and there was no codes before getting it mapped, when they were taking the car off the rolling road it wouldn't start, so scanned it and told me it was just an immobilizer code and started once it was cleared. But i've been having problems starting the car when it's warmed up, starts fine when cold just not when up to temp scanned the car yesterday and got the following codes

17947 (P1539) clutch pedal switch

16706 (P0322) engine rpm sensor intermittent

01314 engine control module (could this be due to the car being remapped?)

Also the maf is unplugged because they said it was that bad it wasn't worth plugging back in

Any help appreciated

crank sensor is normally the culprit for not starting when warm

clutch switch - have you noticed the revs staying put when you change gears?

still surprised r-tech unplugged the maf and didnt tell you to replace it straight away tho.

and yeah crank sensor sounds the culprit

No they told me to replace it with a main dealer only one, they said it's not worth plugging in to get home with

Not noticed the revs staying while changing gear either as regards to the clutch pedal switch
