Mk2 > MK5 R32 conversion
« on: 25 February 2012, 08:01 »
I have done alot of research into this and i think im going to stick the 1.8t conversion in the bin and crack on with this, have sourced an engine with VR6 clutch and flywheel, ecu and engine harness, water pipes etc for 1400. Everything i read says i need to use mk4 loom and injectors, is this correct? Im just trying to collate a shopping list so i can gauge how much this is going to cost me. Im planning to put it into a 89' mk2 gti 8v so im not really sure how to go about the wiring unless i buy a VR6 donor car and change out the wiring completely? Hope someone can shed some light.

Thanks
