best leather or microfibre cloth?
« on: 21 February 2012, 16:01 »
After u have washed your car what do u use?

I usually wipe off excess water then leather down which moves me onto next question lol.

What leathers are people using (my dads have holes in so gets annoying lol)

then usually finish off with a microfibre cloth

Main question is what is the best leather to use?

Thanks

Don't use a chamois. Just dry with a proper microfibre drying towel.

Tbh i've never really got along with drying towels although most swear by them, i use a couple of the Autoglym tech chamois to get a majority off (one for the top and another for the bottom) and finish off with a Dodo juice supernatural towel.
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

A chammy can trap dirty and scratch the paintwork as you dry the car. Look on Elite Car Care, Polished Bliss, Clean you car, Ultimate finish to see the range of drying towels and prices.

Don't go too large as they are a pain to wring out.

+1. I'm using the DJ 'standard' drying towel, does the job well, I dried two golfs the other day no problem!
