Another car
« on: 22 May 2005, 15:00 »
Ok well the Polo GTi is going today.

We decided to be sensible after looking a some G40's, and we were looking at Audi A6 estates & Passat estates, but then Gary saw a USA MK1 Rabbit GTI so he had to ring up about it, next thing I knew we were looking at it, and I was driving it home!

It has the square headlights big metal bumpers opening 1/4 lights, aircon, velor interoir etc... and only 1 owner!
It needs a bit of work but it is a bit different

Pics? I love the old mk1 rabbits, something about them that is just so "kooky" about them.

I will be looking for a passat estate or audi over summer to use as the workhorse for the winter, the old girl is being taken off the road and worked on.

Cheeky  I'd have done the same

You gotta get some pics up. Are they similar to the square lights that used to be on my cabrio?

yes and no lol
They are the same shape but just one on each side so a bit bigger.
The back lights are massice, when you break it has 4 break lights come on, and it looks liek there is reflecters down teh side of the car, and turn the lighst on they come on too lol
Even the dash is completly different.
It is up on axel stands now, but will get soem pic's as soon as it is down.
It has a zender kit on the back and also a BBS bottom Spolier.
The front wings are different cause of the square lights and I need 1 wing it has started to go at the bottom so searching the USA for one is fun!
