so if i go to a dvla office i can defo get 1 without a logbook??yea aknow lol 5 of them got out the car cud smell watever drug they wwere using lol so just handed 750quid over and went didnt bother checkin slip till i got home lol new it wasnt knicked so i cuda broke it for alot more but instead kept it lol :tongue:

My sister went through a similar ordeal, she bought car of a colleague as he was moving to australia for a new job, she had to leave the country due to my nan passing away. The guy filled in the V5 all wrong and we have only just sorted it a few months down the line, they do have a form for requesting or amending the v5, plus I remember supplying them proof of purchase of the vehicle.

hmm just not sure lol guy at my local post office is getting on abit and forget full mite try the v10 form way if logbook hasnt appeared by end of march
