so if i go to a dvla office i can defo get 1 without a logbook??yea aknow lol 5 of them got out the car cud smell watever drug they wwere using lol so just handed 750quid over and went didnt bother checkin slip till i got home lol new it wasnt knicked so i cuda broke it for alot more but instead kept it lol 
My sister went through a similar ordeal, she bought car of a colleague as he was moving to australia for a new job, she had to leave the country due to my nan passing away. The guy filled in the V5 all wrong and we have only just sorted it a few months down the line, they do have a form for requesting or amending the v5, plus I remember supplying them proof of purchase of the vehicle.
