I have a lovely condition mk4 gti 150. I noticed while washing it yesterday the spoiler on the left hand side has some play in it, as if the glue has started to go. The sealant has gone too as if you push it down water comes out. So the question is do I need to pull the whole thing off and re glue/seal it, can I just glue/re seal that corner while it's still on? Obviously I'm nervous about doing anything to it, it's also wet the whole time and never warm enough for the stuff to dry. Finally, I bought some araldite glue and some separate silicone sealant from halfords. Will this do the trick?
