cruise control on AGU engine
« on: 10 February 2012, 10:40 »
Just wondering if this was a factory option. I have this on mine and it works perfectly, but I get no indications on the dash.

Has mine been retro-fitted at some point maybe ?

I believe it was available to have as an option but no you cant retro fit it to an AGU. You can on AUM and AUQ engines though

switch to on.
once at desired speed press button at end of stalk , speed will hold at this speed until you brake/accelerate
to increase cruise speed without pedal pull the sliding switch to the left, to decrease press and hold the button at end of stalk

cant be used under 20mpg , and if say you were crusisng at 70 and had st slow down for traffic , the car will bring back up to 70 unless new speed set ir control turned off

i found that by using my right foot i can cruise perfectly! when i want to decrease speed i just let my foot off, when i want to increase i put my foot on and if i want to keep at a steady speed i just accelerate/deccelerate accordingly..
