Yes you would activate it if driving in the UK (assuming your car is LHD). My previous Mk6 had it and it's a great feature. I activated it on the ferry and you can see the beam moving and pointing in the other direction when you turn on the feature (it's so you don't blind people when driving on the other side of the road).

I remember reading some TT forums a while back and Audi dealers were / are charging something like £60 to do the same thing as TTs don't have this feature. You can also do it with Vagcom I think. Halogen users have to make do with the sticker / deflector things  :sad:

Thanks. My car is indeed LHD - so I better turn it off then...as I am blinding all my fellow drivers :)

What is vagcom? I've seen this mentioned a few times...

Sorry for all the questions: Estonia is a country of 1.5million people, and there is only 2 MK6 Gti's here - with me driving one of them! Not many ppl to ask :)

VAG-COM, aka VCDS, is a diagnostic system for cars manufactured by the Volkswagen Group

Sorry for all the questions: Estonia is a country of 1.5million people, and there is only 2 MK6 Gti's here - with me driving one of them! Not many ppl to ask :)

Wish we could say the same about the UK lol
